About the role
We are seeking an Unexpected Error Specialist to join our team in Stockholm. In this on-site role, you will be at the forefront of identifying, analyzing, and resolving unforeseen issues within our systems and processes. Your work will be critical in ensuring smooth operations, minimizing disruptions, and enhancing overall efficiency.
What You'll Work On
- Investigate and diagnose unexpected errors across various systems and applications to determine root causes, ensuring we get to the bottom of every issue.
- Develop and implement timely solutions and workarounds to resolve identified errors and minimize operational impact, keeping our systems running smoothly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to address complex issues and implement long-term fixes, fostering a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Monitor system performance and error logs to proactively identify potential issues and prevent future errors, acting as a guardian for our system's health.
- Document error resolution processes and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference and training, contributing to our collective learning and growth.
- Participate in post-incident reviews to analyze error patterns and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence, helping us learn from past incidents and improve our systems.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate error detection and resolution processes, streamlining our operations and improving efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a technical support, system administration, or software development role, with familiarity troubleshooting technical issues in complex systems.
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools and techniques, along with familiarity with error tracking and resolution methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve unexpected errors, with excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to address critical issues in a timely manner, with a detail-oriented approach focused on accuracy and thoroughness.
Our Hiring Process
- Stage 1: Psychometrics: You'll complete logic/reasoning and personality tests to help us understand your cognitive and behavioral strengths.
- Stage 2: TA Interview: You'll meet with our Talent Acquisition team to discuss your experience with incident management, debugging, cross-functional teamwork, communication skills, and prioritization.
- Stage 3: HM Interview: You'll interview with the Hiring Manager to discuss your skills in troubleshooting, analytical thinking, technical support, system monitoring, and problem-solving, potentially including a work sample.
- Stage 4: Work Sample: You will be asked to provide a work sample to demonstrate your skills in incident management and debugging.
