Working as a Software Engineer at Alva Labs

Our day-to-day work is performed in small cross-functional squads with dedicated missions. Each team is working on making hiring better for everyone. Either you will be focusing on the candidate experience, or working on making the recruiter's and hiring manager's lives easier.

You will work closely with other experienced engineers as well as designers, and product managers and build a platform that supports thousands of users every day.

  • Google Cloud Platform
  • Pub/Sub
  • PostgreSQL, Firestore
  • Kubernetes, Cloud Run
  • Protocol buffers
  • Event-driven microservices

You

Your background isn’t super important to us, as we are more interested in who you are. Ideally, you have worked with software engineering for some time and have experience in building distributed systems. More importantly, you:

  • Love solving complex problems and turning them into solutions that breathe simplicity.
  • Are ambitious and structured.
  • Are a prestige-less team player.
  • Our company language is English, so no need to speak Swedish.
