About the role

We are seeking a talented Product Designer to shape the user experience and interface of our products. In this role, you'll be integral to the product development process, ensuring our offerings are both functional and visually appealing. This is an on-site position where you will be based in our office.

What You'll Work On

• Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, ensuring our designs meet user needs.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with product goals, contributing to a cohesive product vision.
• Design and iterate on user interfaces, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and usability best practices, maintaining a high standard of design quality.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers to maintain a high level of design quality across all products.
• Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides and pattern libraries, to ensure design consistency across products.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design skills and processes, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of design decisions.

What We're Looking For

• Experience designing user interfaces for web and/or mobile applications, with a portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of design principles and user-centered design.
• A background in working within cross-functional product teams, demonstrating your ability to collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD, allowing you to bring your ideas to life.
• Solid knowledge of user interface design principles and best practices, ensuring our products are intuitive and user-friendly.
• Familiarity with user research methodologies and usability testing, enabling you to gather valuable insights and improve our designs.
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and layout, to create visually appealing and engaging interfaces.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to effectively convey your ideas and work with others.
• Ability to think critically and solve complex design problems, contributing to innovative and effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

Our Hiring Process

• Stage 1: You'll start with a readiness screening to ensure alignment.
• Stage 2: Next, you'll complete logic/reasoning and personality tests.
• Stage 3: You'll meet with our TA team for an interview, where we'll discuss your experience with user research, UI design, design reviews, and documentation. You'll also present a work sample to showcase your wireframing, prototyping, and mockup skills, and we'll assess your communication, collaboration, and understanding of design feasibility.
• Stage 4: You'll then meet with our HM team for an interview, where we'll further explore your experience with user research, UI design, design reviews, and documentation. You'll also present a work sample to showcase your wireframing, prototyping, and mockup skills, and we'll assess your communication, collaboration, and understanding of design feasibility.
• Stage 5: You'll be asked to provide a work sample, where we'll assess your experience with user research, UI design, design reviews, and documentation. You'll also present a work sample to showcase your wireframing, prototyping, and mockup skills, and we'll assess your communication, collaboration, and understanding of design feasibility.
