About the role

We are seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Lab Rat to join our research and development team. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of conducting experiments and collecting data that drives our scientific advancements. This is an on-site position where you will be based in our lab, contributing directly to the innovation process.

What You'll Work On

• Conduct experiments and tests following established protocols, ensuring accurate and consistent results.
• Collect, record, and analyze experimental data, maintaining detailed and organized records of all findings.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and troubleshooting any issues.
• Prepare samples and solutions for experiments, following precise instructions and safety procedures.
• Assist in the development and optimization of experimental procedures, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of research activities.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage of materials.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a laboratory setting, conducting experiments and collecting data is essential.
• Familiarity with scientific research methodologies and laboratory equipment is a must.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulations is critical.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques is highly desired.
• You possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting experiments and recording data.
• You have excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• You are able to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve research goals.
• You have effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey research findings and technical information clearly.

Our Hiring Process

• Psychometric Assessment: You'll complete a logic/reasoning test and a personality test to help us understand your problem-solving approach and work style.
• TA Interview: You'll meet with our Talent Acquisition team to discuss your background, experience, and interest in the role.
• HM Interview: You'll interview with the Hiring Manager, where you'll delve deeper into the role and your technical skills, including a work sample assessment focusing on sample preparation and attention to detail.
• Work Sample: You will complete a work sample, which will be reviewed by the Hiring Manager and TA team.
