About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities on-site. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment for our employees, customers, and visitors. Your work will directly contribute to the health, safety, and overall appearance of our workplace.

What You'll Work On

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring they are hygienic and well-maintained.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, including carpeted and hard surface areas, to keep them free of dirt and debris.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste, contributing to a sustainable and tidy environment.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a clean and presentable environment, enhancing the overall aesthetic.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and refilling dispensers, ensuring functionality and convenience.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, and request replenishment as needed, to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly, prioritizing your safety and the safety of others.
• Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies promptly and efficiently, minimizing disruptions and maintaining a safe environment.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments is a must.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products is essential.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage is critical.
• Understanding of sanitation standards and procedures is required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods is necessary.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning is a must-have.
• Good communication skills to understand and follow instructions are important.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively is highly valued.
• Basic problem-solving skills to address cleaning challenges are a plus.

Our Hiring Process

• Stage 1: Inbox. Initial screening to ensure basic qualifications are met.
• Stage 2: Psychometrics. You will complete a logic/reasoning test and a personality test.
• Stage 3: TA Interview. This interview will assess your physical stamina, attention to detail, ability to work independently, communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and time management skills.
• Stage 4: HM Interview. This interview will focus on your cleaning and sanitation knowledge, as well as your problem-solving abilities. You may also be asked to provide a work sample.
• Stage 5: Work sample. You may be asked to provide a work sample.
