About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Orange Pickers! As an Orange Picker, you'll play a vital role in harvesting our delicious oranges, ensuring they make their way from our groves to tables across the country. This is an on-site role where you will be working in our groves.

What You'll Work On

• Harvest oranges by hand, carefully selecting ripe fruit based on size and color.
• Use ladders and other provided equipment to reach oranges at various heights, ensuring a safe and efficient picking process.
• Place harvested oranges into bags or containers, taking care to avoid bruising or damage.
• Transport filled containers to designated collection points within the grove, contributing to the smooth flow of our harvesting operations.
• Maintain a steady work pace to meet daily harvesting quotas, helping us achieve our production goals.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent injuries and maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any issues or concerns, such as tree damage or pest infestations, to your supervisor promptly.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in agricultural harvesting or similar manual labor is a plus.
• Familiarity with working outdoors in various weather conditions is highly desired.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a consistent pace throughout the day.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy containers of oranges.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure only ripe and undamaged fruit is harvested.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Our Hiring Process

• Stage 1: Complete an initial online assessment to determine your readiness for the role, including questions about your background and experience in agricultural harvesting.
• Stage 2: Take a personality and logic/reasoning test.
• Stage 3: Participate in a Team Interview where we'll assess your physical stamina, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and teamwork skills. There will also be a Hiring Manager interview to assess your agricultural operations and manual dexterity.
• Stage 4: Participate in a Team Interview where we'll assess your physical stamina, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and teamwork skills. There will also be a Hiring Manager interview to assess your agricultural operations and manual dexterity.
