About the role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in testing new flag implementations, ensuring they function correctly and meet our high standards. This is an on-site position where you will be based in our office.

What You'll Work On

• Develop comprehensive test plans for new flag implementations based on specifications and requirements.
• Execute test cases, both manually and using automated tools, to verify the functionality of new flags.
• Identify, document, and track defects discovered during testing, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the status of flag implementations, highlighting any areas of concern.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand new features and ensure test coverage aligns with project goals.
• Participate in the review of code and design specifications to provide early feedback and identify potential issues.
• Maintain and update test environments to accurately simulate production conditions for reliable testing.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing team.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in software testing, particularly with feature flag implementations or similar configuration management systems.
• A background in agile development environments, with participation in sprint planning and review processes.
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and gray-box testing.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing principles.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of configuration management and deployment strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose defects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• A detail-oriented approach to ensure thorough and accurate testing.

Our Hiring Process

• Psychometric Tests: You will complete logic/reasoning and personality tests.
• TA Interview: This interview will cover your work samples, written communication skills, collaboration abilities, task management skills, and attention to detail.
• HM Interview: In this interview, we'll discuss your work samples, test planning, test execution, defect tracking, test reporting, test environment management, process improvement skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Work Sample: You will be asked to provide a work sample.
