About the role

We're seeking a dynamic TV Broadcaster to provide expert commentary and analysis for live curling events. In this on-site role, you'll enhance the viewer experience, promote the sport, and work closely with our production teams to deliver accurate and insightful coverage. Your voice will bring the excitement of curling to a broader audience.

What You'll Work On

• Provide live, engaging commentary and analysis during curling broadcasts, explaining rules, strategies, and techniques to viewers.
• Conduct pre- and post-game interviews with players and coaches, bringing their insights to the audience.
• Collaborate with the production team to develop compelling storylines and content that keep viewers hooked.
• Stay updated on the latest curling news, player statistics, and rule changes to provide the most current analysis.
• Participate in promotional activities to increase viewership and engagement, helping to grow the sport's fanbase.
• Analyze game footage to provide insightful predictions and enhance the viewing experience.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a sports commentator or analyst, ideally with a focus on curling.
• A background as a competitive curling player or coach is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of curling rules, strategies, and techniques is essential.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills to engage and entertain a diverse audience.
• Ability to think quickly and provide insightful commentary in real-time.
• Strong interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and working effectively within a team.

Our Hiring Process

• Psychometric Assessments: You'll complete logic/reasoning and personality tests to help us understand your approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
• TA Interview: You'll meet with our Talent Acquisition team to discuss your verbal and interpersonal communication skills, teamwork abilities, and provide a work sample showcasing your presentation skills and audience engagement.
• HM Interview: You'll then meet with the Hiring Manager to further discuss your presentation skills, real-time analysis capabilities, and provide another work sample.
• Work Sample: A final work sample assessment to demonstrate your presentation skills, real-time analysis, and audience engagement.
