About the role

We are seeking a dynamic TV Broadcaster to become the face and voice of Lucha Canaria. In this role, you will deliver engaging live coverage, provide expert analysis, and conduct insightful interviews, enhancing viewership and promoting the sport's growing popularity. This on-site position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the vibrant world of Lucha Canaria broadcasting.

What You'll Work On

• Provide live, captivating play-by-play commentary and analysis during Lucha Canaria matches.
• Conduct pre- and post-match interviews with wrestlers and coaches, offering viewers exclusive insights.
• Develop and present informative segments on the history, techniques, and personalities of Lucha Canaria.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless broadcasting, coordinating camera angles, graphics, and replays.
• Stay updated on the latest Lucha Canaria developments, rules, and athlete profiles to provide informed commentary.
• Engage with viewers through social media, fostering a community and enhancing the overall viewing experience.
• Prepare and deliver engaging on-air presentations, including introductions, summaries, and promotional content.
• Analyze match footage, providing strategic insights to enhance viewer understanding and appreciation.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a sports commentator or broadcaster, preferably in combat sports or wrestling.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging and informative commentary in a live broadcast setting.
• Familiarity with the rules, techniques, and culture of Lucha Canaria.
• Deep understanding of Lucha Canaria techniques, history, and key figures.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to think quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills to conduct interviews and engage with athletes and production teams.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable, as it is the required language for this role.

• TA Interview: Discuss your verbal and interpersonal communication skills, coordination abilities, and provide work samples showcasing your content development, social media management, public speaking, and critical thinking.
• HM Interview: Demonstrate your live broadcasting, interviewing, broadcast production, and video analysis skills.
• Work Sample: A practical assessment to further evaluate your skills in a real-world context.
