About the role
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying and qualifying new leads, driving our sales pipeline, and contributing to our company's growth. This is an on-site role, based in [Company to specify].
What You'll Work On
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to identify and engage potential customers, turning them into qualified leads.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria, ensuring they align with our target customer profile and are a good fit for our solutions.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations between qualified leads and the sales team, facilitating the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and interactions in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective outreach strategies, maximising lead generation efforts.
- Research and understand industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and meetings scheduled, contributing to the company's overall success.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a sales, customer service, or related role is a plus, demonstrating your ability to interact with customers.
- Familiarity with sales processes and techniques, showing your understanding of the sales cycle.
- Experience using CRM software and other sales tools is beneficial, indicating your technical proficiency.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices is desirable, showcasing your sales acumen.
- Understanding of the industry and market trends relevant to our products/services is a plus, demonstrating your market awareness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential, enabling you to effectively engage with potential customers.
- A strong ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate is highly valued, helping you to convert leads into opportunities.
- You are self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
- You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating your adaptability and collaboration skills.
- You possess strong organisational and time management skills, enabling you to manage your workload effectively.
Our Hiring Process
- Psychometric Assessment: You will complete a personality test and a logic/reasoning test.
- TA Interview: You'll meet with our Talent Acquisition team to discuss your communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills, as well as review a work sample to assess your lead generation, appointment scheduling, persuasion, and record-keeping abilities.
- HM Interview: You'll meet with the Hiring Manager to discuss your experience with CRM software, sales strategies, market research, sales methodologies, and negotiation skills, as well as review a work sample to assess your lead generation, appointment scheduling, persuasion, and record-keeping abilities.
- Work Sample: You'll be asked to prepare and present a work sample to demonstrate your skills in lead generation, appointment scheduling, persuasion, and record keeping.
