Key Responsibilities:

1. Robotic System Design: Design and develop robotic systems that meet project requirements, considering factors such as functionality, performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Create detailed design specifications, including mechanical components, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
2. Programming and Control: Develop and implement control algorithms and software for robotic systems, including motion planning, path optimization, and feedback control. Program robots to perform complex tasks autonomously or in collaboration with humans.
3. Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototype robotic systems to validate design concepts and functionality. Conduct experiments and collect data to evaluate and optimize the performance of robotic systems.
4. Sensor Integration: Identify and integrate appropriate sensors, such as cameras, lidar, and tactile sensors, into robotic systems. Develop algorithms for sensor data fusion and perception to enable intelligent decision-making and navigation.
5. Collaborative Robotics: Design and implement collaborative robotic systems that can work alongside humans, ensuring safety and efficiency. Develop algorithms and control strategies for human-robot interaction and cooperation.
6. System Integration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate robotic systems with other technologies and platforms, such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices, computer vision systems, and automation frameworks. Ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
7. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve technical issues related to robotic systems, including hardware failures, software bugs, and communication problems. Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
8. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test reports. Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
9. Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, and related fields. Conduct research and contribute to the development of new algorithms, techniques, and technologies to improve robotic systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience with robotic frameworks, such as ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Proficiency in robot simulation and modeling tools, such as Gazebo or V-REP.
• Solid understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control.
• Familiarity with motion planning algorithms and machine learning techniques.
• Knowledge of sensor technologies, perception algorithms, and sensor fusion.
• Hands-on experience with robotic hardware, including manipulators, mobile robots, and sensors.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is required.
